Local School Advisory Council

The Local School Advisory Council grew out of the Georgia General Assembly recognizing the need to improve communication and participation of parents and the community in the management and operation of local schools. School councils shall provide advise, recommendations, assistance and represent the community of parents and businesses. Membership of the council is open to teachers, parents, and business representatives selected from a school’s business partners.
